The power of gardens to build communities through beauty, camaraderie and involvement.

RPGG Programs & Events

The RPGG holds meetings and events monthly between April-October, in addition to a February get together and lecture.  Monthly meetings include a 45 minute presentation by an expert speaker.  In past years, the RPGG was priviledged to include speakers such as Christy Webber of Christy Webber Landscapes, Ruta Lietuvninkas on starting seeds, Rich Eyres from Rich's Foxwillow Pines, Jack Barnette from the EPA,  Allen Cosnow on growing dwarf fruit trees from Midwest Fruit Explorers, Ann Whelan on the dunes restoration project, John Eskandari of Gethsemane Gardens, Jennifer Calhoun of Ball Seed, Greg Fischer of Wild Blossom Meadery, Holley Blackwell of Sweet Beginnings, Terry Guen of Terry Guen Associates, and many other gardening and landscape experts.
For 2010, we have a great line of speakers on wide-ranging topics from vegetable gardening to water gardens, sustainability, and much more. Please check back frequently as RPGG event and speaker information is updated often.
