The Garden of Treasures Sale & Fundraiser is RPGG's annual all things gardening rummage sale and silent auction benefitting the RPGG Community Gardening programs.
Here is how it works: you and local businesses and artists donate your (gently) used garden-themed items and plants, gift certificates, and art. The RPGG sells these items, and the proceeds go into the RPGG Community Gardening program funds where they are distributed for an annual community garden project and Adopt the Way grants. You get a great deal on something for your garden or home, and in return Rogers Park will sprout more blooming green stuff.
Looking for great deals on perennials, shrubs, grasses, or bulbs? Hope to find some unusual garden art? Or, maybe you're looking for gift certificates to your favorite Rogers Park restaurant or business. Then come out to the Garden of Treasures Sale & Fundraiser where you will find that great deal thanks to the generosity of Rogers Park residents who donate plants, garden tools, outdoor furniture, houseplants, gardening books . . . any and all things garden-themed. . . while local businesses and artists donate their goods, services, and art for the silent auction. All proceeds from the sale and silent auction benefit RPGG Community Gardening programs. Check out our photo album to see photos from the 2008 Garden of Treasure Sale.
The Garden of Treasures Sale is held on the last Sunday of September and is located at Jarvis Square, the corner of Greenview and Jarvis. Come out and join in the festivities and support community gardening in Rogers Park!
