THE ROGERS PARK GARDEN GROUP

I co- chair the Rogers park Garden Group community garden and Adopt the Public way grants programs and sit on the program and organizing committees.  I am also one of the originial founders of the group.  As a master gardener and lover of  gardening in general , It brings me great pleasure to be able to work within my neighborhood and experience first hand the positive impact  this simple activity has on children and adults alike.

my goal is to one day be able to stroll down any street in Rogers Park and any walk way along the Loyola beach park and see plantings, people out working on their gardens and sharing instead of litter, weeds and neglect.
