are you still interested in plots?
if we can get some amount of people together, we could start a community garden ourselfs?

I too am looking for space. I was told there's no more room at Schreiber. I'm at Glenwood and Ridge, and the Howard Area garden is a little farther than I would like to travel for a vegetable garden. If anyone has yard space in the area, I'd be happy to work out a deal. -Mark 773-728-0349

I am also looking for a plot for a vegetable garden. I live near Lunt and Glenwood. Anyone with a spot for rent - please email carlandatticus@yahoo.com. Thank you.

I'm also looking for a space-- to rent, to share, to grow veggies. I'm by Morse/Ashland. Please let me know if anyone has space available. akjohnson08@rocketmail.com

One Garden Group near Rosehill Cemetery and Paulines has managed to use the area east of the tracks to create a large public garden. Perhaps, there are areas on one side of the tracks that could be used with some sort of consent from Metra. I know that some corners by apartments and condos are abused, so that a few have developed the parkways without much objection.
